Aaron Ruell is not only a commercial director but also a photographer and filmmaker. As a commercial director, SHOOT magazine declared him one of the most promising new directors in the world of advertising, and Creativity has written that he is one of the emerging artists to know. His commercial clients include Xbox, Coca Cola, Volkswagen and Target. Moreover, in 2005 he was the only filmmaker to have two short films selected at Sundance, Everythings Gone Green and Mary, both of which he wrote and directed. Following Sundance he began directing commercials and he's been going non-stop ever since. His photography has won various awards from PDN to the 2010 One Show. Nazareli Press published his monograph entitled, Some Photos. His work has been seen in magazines around the world and shown at galleries in the United States, Paris, Milan and Buenos Aires. Currently he is represented by Biscuit in the US and UK.
